Scope of Project

Health Systems Quality Assurance Division’s Medical Marijuana Authorization System (MMJAS) Patient, Provider and Retail Store portal for creating secure identification cards and integration with DOR, WSP, WSLCB, DEA and DOH data sources.

cloudPWR serves as the prime contractor, responsible for delivery of the production application and ongoing support and maintenance. The project was delivered on time in six months. Subsequent legislative (HB1094) modifications in 2019 were also delivered on time and on budget. We work closely with the agency during legislative session to provide fiscal notes and impact for proposed legislation that could affect or require modifications to the application.

Deliverables

Delivered AIRLIFT SaaS application to meet the COTS technical requirements and legislative fulfillment of E2SSB 5052 RCW 69.51A. Project Management work breakdown (WBS), schedule, communication plan, change management, risk management, issue management and quality assurance plans. Developed joint resourceplan and production deployment plan. Additional project documentation included testing, training, operations and maintenance, hosting and transition plans. SOC-II Type II Audit and bridge letters for Amazon Web Services (AWS) SOC-II. Completed WA TECH OCS Design Review.

Training curriculum developed for system administrators, DOH license investigators, retail stores medical marijuana consultants, law enforcement agencies and patient providers. Train the trainer sessions for DOH to provide ongoing sessions.

Integration to support Washington State Patrol ACCESS for validation of MMJ Patient Cards in patrol vehicles and LEA Investigator interfaces. Secure Access Washington (SAW) for multi-factor single sign-on authentication (login).

cloudPWR currently provides Tier 1, 2 and 3 support to 250+ retail stores and employees.

cloudPWR is responsible for all ongoing Hosting, DevOps and Maintenance required to support the MMJAS portals, integrations and infrastructure. Periodic legislative mandates require cloudPWR to provide modifications to the application;, these have been delivered on time and on budget.
